Why we hold stock

A good deal of what is sold as next-day in this market is ordered the moment you order it. The vial promised on Tuesday is on a container, in a customs queue, or on a shelf belonging to somebody the seller has never met.

Buying ahead is the expensive way to run this. Capital sits in a unit, and stock that moves slowly is stock we have already paid for. It is also the only arrangement under which a next working day dispatch means anything at all, so it is the one we run.

We are not a manufacturer and we will not imply otherwise. A reseller posing as a laboratory is the first thing a careful buyer catches, and it makes everything else on the page suspect. We write the specification, we commission the analysis, and we publish what comes back.

Four steps, and the third is the one that costs us. We write the stock off rather than recover anything from it, because a specification nothing is ever rejected against is not a specification.

    We write the specification

    Identity, a minimum purity and the analysis we expect to arrive with it. A manufacturer who will not work to it does not get the order.

  2. On arrival

    It comes here

    Stock lands in our own unit and stays there. Nothing is drop-shipped from a third party, which is why we can tell you what is on the shelf today.

  3. If it misses

    It is destroyed

    Not relabelled to a lower grade, not discounted, not blended into stock, not returned. Sending it back only moves it somewhere we can no longer account for.

  4. On dispatch

    It leaves the shelf it arrived on

    Picked against the batch, sealed under vacuum, and where a batch reference exists it is printed on the vial you receive.

What we order against

A purchasing floor, not a number printed on every vial. Where a batch has been tested, its certificate carries the figure the laboratory actually recorded, and that recorded figure is the one worth reading rather than this one.

What the documents cover

Batch documentation is most of the reason to buy from a supplier rather than from a marketplace, so it is worth being exact about its scope.

One batch, one day
A certificate measures the material that was sampled, when it was sampled. It is evidence about that batch and it does not travel to the next one.
The range, not yet every line
We commission analysis across the catalogue and the programme is still widening. Where a certificate exists it is published; where one does not, the product page says so rather than leaving you to assume.
Whose reference it carries
Laboratories work to the sample reference they were given, so a report can name the manufacturer’s batch instead of our stock code. The product page says which you are looking at.
Identity, not suitability
A purity figure tells you the material is what the label says, to the sensitivity of the method used. Whether it belongs in your protocol is your call — we do not design studies and we will not pretend to.

What we will not do

Research use only is something we enforce, not a sentence parked in the footer to satisfy a payment processor.

  • We publish no dosing guidance for people or animals, and support will not hand it over privately if you ask.
  • We make no therapeutic claim, and we will not describe a research finding as though it were something the product does.
  • We cancel and refund any order where the buyer tells us the material is for human use.
  • We do not dress the catalogue up as a supplement, a health product, or anything a person is meant to take.

Everything ships lyophilised and sealed under vacuum, stable at ambient temperature for the length of a domestic delivery, so nothing here depends on a cold chain that can fail in the back of a van — the dispatch page gives the exact cut-off.
