What the laboratory actually ran
A purity figure means nothing without the method that produced it. These are the analyses our reports carry, and what each one can and cannot tell you.
- HPLC: purity analysis
- High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) is the industry standard for determining chemical purity. Where a batch has been tested and falls below our 99% purity threshold it is destroyed, not reclassified and not returned to the supplier. The recorded purity result for a tested batch is shown on its published certificate as an area percentage.
- The laboratory report behind it
- A published certificate transcribes the purity and content figures reported for the batch. It is not the laboratory's own report and does not reproduce chromatograms, mass data or identity confirmation. Where a batch carries a verification key, entering it at the laboratory's site returns their record of the analysis, which is the authoritative document.

How do I check a batch?
Type the number from your vial label into the box above. They take one of two shapes, SKU-YYMM or SKU-DDMMYY, so enter it exactly as printed. Older labels carrying an LP- prefix still work. No number on your label? The product page for that variant lists the latest batch we hold.
How old are the results?
Where testing has been commissioned it is arranged when the stock lands, and the sampling date is printed on the report. Age matters less than storage: a compound kept as its label says will outlast one left on a bench.
Whose reference will the report carry?
Not always. We keep internal stock references, and some published reports are supplier-level analyses. A laboratory works to the sample reference it was given, so a document can name the supplier’s batch rather than our stock code. What is published is the testing information that exists for that product or batch.
Nothing came back. What now?
Check it against the label once more — a transposed digit is the usual answer. If it still misses, send us the number and your order and we will tell you exactly what exists for that batch. A gap in what is published is a gap in publication, not a verdict on the material.
